Bodybuilding and Sun Tanning...

I often wonder about the phrase "Perfect Contest Tan". Does that mean if you don't have a tan, even if you have the best body in the whole contest you don't stand a chance? That is a question that I'd like to ask one of the judges. Anyway, I did a quick research on the internet and found out that if your skin is very, very dark while posing in a female bodybuilding contest, your cuts and muscularity will show much better against the very bright stage lights. If your tan is not dark enough, you'll look washed out, simple as that. Go ahead ladies and make sure you get a deep tan before your next bodybuilding contest.

Female Bodybuilding aerobic and diet...

Aerobic burns free fatty acid, and will define your overall physique. More and more bodybuilders are now including aerobic activities in their training since they now can see the benefits associated with it. The fact is bodybuilding without aerobic is like bodybuilding not reaching to its full potential.

Dieting is a very important aspect in building a world class physique. The proper diet should include high-fiber nutrients among other things. Don't forget that high-fiber diets works to eliminate diseases. You want to include at least 40 grams of high-fiber into your daily diet. The diet will consist of oatmeal, carrots, corn, oat bran, citrus, apples, peas and beans and more.

How to raise the level of muscle building hormone

A compound in garlic called allicin is one of the the best natural ways to raise the levels of muscle building hormone in a woman body builder. Allicin breaks down easily, so do get real garlic, not the supplements which often don't have any active allicin left to raise any testosterone level. Broccoli and Cabbage can also be a great natural testosterone boosters because they contain Indole-3-carbinol.

I don't have to remind any woman body builder to limit her consumption of alcohol and cigarette. Alcohol has been shown to have quite a dramatic effect on testosterone levels. Also make sure to get adequate sleep every night. A lack of sleep contributes to cortisol production, and this will lower your testosterone levels. More and more athletes are signing up for a distance learning degree in order to get ready to accommodate the demand placed on a full time female body builder.
